  1. Before you start cooking, you should prepare the components in advance. We take a measuring cup and throw into it the yolk, ¼ part of a teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of 5% vinegar. We mix all the ingredients.
  2. Add 100 ml of chilled water to the mixed components and leave in the refrigerator.
  3. Place 300 g of sifted flour on a specially prepared place. After grating 200 g of butter in advance, add it to the flour, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Having made a small depression in the dough, we take out the chilled liquid from the refrigerator and pour it and mix it.
  5. It is not recommended to knead the dough. It should be mixed. Gently, collecting the dough from all sides to the middle.
  6. Before sending the dough for 2 hours in the refrigerator, you should give it the shape of a rectangle.
  7. We make the filling in water with 600 ml and 300 g of sugar. When the sugar is completely dissolved, leave the water to boil over low heat.
  8. Taking a few pieces of apples, cut them in half, removing the core of the fruit.
  9. You need to cut the halves into 2 ml.
  10. The syrup, which has already been prepared on a small fire, is filled with chopped apples and the ingredients are brought to a maximum boil.
  11. At the end of cooking apples in water, put them on a plate and let the fruit cool.
  12. Remove the prepared dough from the refrigerator. We roll it out and cut strips no more than 4 cm in 25 cm length.
  13. On a cut strip of dough, lay out the sliced ​​\u200b\u200band cooled fruit slices so that the apples protrude.

  4. Add a few tablespoons of water and jam to the vessel with the ingredients, mix, send for a minute in the microwave.
  5. Sprinkle the workplace with sifted flour and begin to gently roll out the dough. The consistency must be divided into 6 strips of the same size. Cover the strips with jam.
  6. We spread the chopped apples on the jam so that the fruit slices peek out from under the dough. After the apples are stacked, gently cover the dough and fold the strips.

An easy way to cook is in simple steps:

  1. The first step is to take out the finished dough and leave it to defrost. In the meantime, pay attention to the filling.
  2. Heat the oil in a small saucepan and put the chopped small cubes of apples into it. Add lemon juice, sugar and simmer the consistency until the apples are soft.
  3. Add nutmeg and almonds to soft apples. Stir and remove from fire. Refrigeration is recommended.
  4. When the dough has thawed, start rolling it out. Cut into small squares of the size you need.
  5. On the diagonal of the cut square, make indentations in the corners.
  6. Place some filling in the center. Coat the uncoated part of the dough with protein.

  1. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and let it thaw.

  • 6-8 pieces of ripe apples;
  • 150 gr of liquid honey;
  • egg white;
  • sugar up to 180 gr and a couple of teaspoons.

Cooking will require little effort, but the unforgettable taste will justify the expenditure of your efforts.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Divide the dough into several parts and cut out squares of medium size.
  2. Using a special paring knife, cut the peel from the apple into a thin and long layer.
  3. Roll the resulting length into a rose shape.
  4. Grate the peeled apple and mix the porridge with sugar. Squeeze the mixture so that the juice runs out completely.
  5. Drizzle honey over wrapped roses.
  6. Place the mold in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
  7. When the form forms a golden hue, it is necessary to beat the white foam of cold protein with powdered sugar.
  8. A few minutes before readiness, it is recommended to pull out the molds and pour over the meringue roses.

For puff pastry roses with apples, you need to prepare the apples and defrost the puff pastry package.

Apples take a medium size. If they are with red skin - great, get a more contrasting color, but this is not important - they will do with green skin.

In a microwave safe bowl, mix water with lemon juice.

Today I propose to cook a delicious and very beautiful dessert - apple roses from puff pastry with cinnamon and fruit jam. Despite the apparent complexity, apple roses are prepared quite simply, and the result will undoubtedly please you.

I have long wanted to bake such a dessert, but somehow I didn’t really like the recipes. Finally, recently on the Internet I saw an interesting recipe published on the site Cooking with Manuela - Cooking with Manuela. According to this recipe, I prepared apple roses from ready-made puff pastry, and now I offer it to you with my little remarks.

Ingredients:(for 12 roses)

  • 500 g ready-made puff pastry
  • 3-4 sweet red or pink apples with firm, crispy flesh
  • 3 art. l. fruit or berry jam (apricot or, for example)
  • juice of half a medium lemon
  • a little flour to roll out the puff pastry
  • cinnamon (optional)
  • powdered sugar for decoration

You can also use honey instead of jam if you like the honey flavor in your baked goods.

Cooking:

Open the package with puff pastry and leave the dough to defrost. For 12 apple roses, you will need a whole package, i.e. 500 g.

This is what the unpacked package looks like:

Cut the apples in half and clean out the middle.

Cut the apples into thin strips, as thin as you can - 1.5-2 mm.

Pour 1.5-2 cups of warm water into a bowl and add the juice from half a lemon there. Dip apples in lemon water so that they do not darken and acquire a pleasant sourness.

We put a bowl of apple slices in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. I kept 4 minutes at a power of 800 watts. Our goal is to warm up the apples so that they bend easily without breaking. At the same time, the apples should not be allowed to become soft and spread in the hands. Therefore, control the process yourself, from time to time pulling out one slice and checking it for flexibility.

When the apples are ready, cool them a little and drain the liquid through a colander. The apples should be almost dry, you can blot them with a paper towel.

Put 3 full tablespoons of jam into a small cup. In the original recipe - 3 tbsp. l. jam plus 2 tbsp. l. water. I do not quite agree with this, with water it turns out a very liquid mixture. There is no need to add water at all, the extra liquid for the dough is useless.

We put a cup of jam in the microwave for 30 seconds so that it does not become so thick, then mix until smooth.

Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and roll out half of the dough into a thin layer about 27 * 42 cm in size. Cut it into 6 strips.

Lubricate the middle of each strip with jam. Do not put a lot of jam, just 2 teaspoons along with the edges are enough, literally spread over the strip, otherwise the jam will flow out during baking and the dough will turn out wet. I put a little too much, you can see in the photo, and regretted it, it was very tasty, but the jam leaked out.

Lay apple slices on a strip of dough and sprinkle them with cinnamon. If you don't like cinnamon, you can do without it.

Now carefully roll the dough with apples into a roll. Moisten the tip with water and fasten so that the dough does not turn around.

We get such a pretty apple rose:

Do the same for the rest of the roses.We put them in silicone molds for cupcakes, so they retain their shape during baking. If the silicone mold is large, like mine (for 12 pcs.), I advise you to immediately, still empty, put it on a baking sheet.

We put the baking sheet with the form in the oven, heated to 180-190 degrees, and bake for 45 minutes. During this time, the dough is well baked, but the apples begin to burn. To avoid this, 30 minutes after the start of baking, cover the roses with foil. I also advise you to bake the roses for the first 30 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven, and the last 15 minutes (when you cover the roses with foil) on the bottom one, so that the dough bakes better.

Sprinkle the finished dessert through a fine strainer with powdered sugar.

Apple roses from puff pastry are fragrant, not too sweet, but, on the contrary, with a slight sourness, with a crispy outer crust and soft inside. You will pleasantly surprise your loved ones if you cook them. It seems to me that it will be very tasty if you serve a still warm, warm dessert along with ice cream.

Throw ready apples in a colander.


Roll out the dough into a layer 5 mm thick. We cut it lengthwise into 5 strips (approximately 5 cm each). Sprinkle each strip with sugar and cinnamon.


Mentally divide the strip of dough in half and lay out the apple slices on the top.


Cover the apple slices with the bottom.


We turn a strip of dough with apples inside into a roll (in the form of a snail).


This is how the folding process looks from the side of apples - as you can see, a rosette is formed.


We put the finished roses into muffin molds. Forms for small cupcakes or muffins will not allow the roses to blur during baking. Perhaps they will hold their shape if they are simply laid out on a baking sheet, but I have not tried it. ..


We bake roses at 180C for 30-40 minutes - be guided by your oven and the variety of apples (how juicy they are). If suddenly the dough is not ready yet, and the petals are already burning, cover them with foil on top. This is what the finished roses look like.
